Membership Benefits
Strong industry alliances and enhanced professional development are goals of our
organization. As a member, you have incredible opportunities to make business
contacts with insurance professionals across the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Membership is an investment in your career. We offer continuing education and
professional development so members can gain technical knowledge, leadership
skills, and the confidence to successfully communicate and advance in the
insurance industry.
Professional Education Programs
Our professional development programs cover negotiation skills, selling
techniques, mentoring, communication and industry specific programs ranging from
policy coverages to policy exclusions often overlooked or misunderstood by both
agents and clients.

Networking
Networking opportunities through local, state, regional and national activities
provide you with an expanded circle of business contacts and knowledge. Our
Resource Referral Service provides a network of NAIW members who have agreed to
answer questions from other NAIW members in their field of expertise. Our Agency
Countersignature Referral Service provides a database of agencies, by state, who
have agreed to countersign for other NAIW members.
Publications
Our association magazine, Today's Insurance Professionals, is mailed to all
13,000 NAIW members, keeping them informed on major industry issues. Members
also receive a newsletter NAIW Now!, providing information on association news
and opportunities.
Professional Designations
Earn the Certified Professional Insurance Woman/Certified Professional Insurance
Man designation by completing specific insurance and NAIW educational courses
and programs.

Member Application dues of $118.50 are payable to "NAIW"
This consists of National NAIW dues of $73.50 and Local Chapter dues of $45.00
for a total of $118.50 (In January 2008 Just send us half that
amount...regular renewal is July 1st.)
